I ate Mountain Dew!

Or, more accurately, I ate some cake made with Mountain Dew.

I just saw the new Ghostbusters movie.

It's not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. That said, let them think what they want about it. If anything, letting gender politics take over the discussion is part of what hurt the movie's box office performance. Please, let's do better next time, all of us.

Thanksgiving is now over.

I never did see any part of the Thanksgiving parade, but yeah, Santa did make an appearance.

Now it's time to start planning for Christmas, although I won't be able to do any shopping until December 1.

It's Thanksgiving today.

I wonder if they'll have Santa at the parade, like they did a few years ago. (Seriously people, one holiday at a time, please.)

I have a bed now.

Or most of one - I don't have a bed frame yet. At least I won't have to re-inflate it all the damn time.

My other idea didn't work out either.

Unless I can come up with a new plan, I won't have that much spending money.

I thought I had a great idea.

Unfortunately, it seems a TV just wasn't meant to be a computer monitor.

Oh well, I tried.

It got cold!

Yeah, I know it's supposed to, but still it was rather sudden.

I plan to post here more often.

And no, it won't be a New Year's resolution. Seriously, to quote Last Week Tonight, how is this still a thing?

But seriously, I will be making an effort to post more often, no less than once a week. As always, though, no promises.

If things work out like I hope, I might have a real bed again after over a year and a half. I've had to make do with an air mattress this whole time, and it's starting to get old. That said, I will make sure not to mishandle my finances the way I did years ago.

I will not be getting the NES Classic Edition

i don't see the point, since there are other ways to play most of these games. Also, the inability to install more games on it limits its overall value. In short, this is an appeal to nostalgia and little else.

I may end up getting the Wii U after all.
